As the founder of Video Brand Academy, I help solo business owners confidently show up on YouTube to build their audience and generate consistent revenue with ease. I teach creators how to plan binge-worthy video content, simplify their video editing, and grow a thriving community using strategic, organic YouTube funnels.

But how did this all get started? I’m glad you asked…

I started my blog and my YouTube Channel in 2015 as a side-business to help “non-techie” people figure out how to create fun-to-watch videos so they can capture life’s relivable moments and share them with friends, family, and future generations.

But being a nerd about all things “online business,” naturally I started helping my blogger friends get started with growing their YouTube channels while building my own content creation business.

In 2016, I lost my job (they broke up with me first, haha) and took this little blog and YouTube channel “full time.” Losing my job turned out to be the best thing ever, because I now have freedom over how I spend my time, where to invest my creative energy, and what to wear to work (hello stretchy pants and hoodies).

I live in western New York state with my husband and two daughters.
