YouTube is a high production-level platform and your videos have to be perfect in order to be taken seriously.

 

Truth: No one expects you to be an expert in your niche and be a professional filmmaker.

Come on... all of you have to do is search up anything on YouTube in a niche outside of video creation to see there are thousands of successful online business owners and thought leaders show just show up and hit record with "bad-looking" videos.

 

YouTube Myth No. 2:

 

You have to have a fancy YouTube setup with cameras, lights, microphone, etc.

 

Truth: with a few window tweaks and good angles, you already have what you need to make good-looking YouTube videos.

Think about it... you're probably reading this on a device that can record and edit videos right now... 🤔

 

YouTube Myth No. 3:

 

You upload videos when you have time and still grow your channel and business.

 

Truth: If you continue waiting until you have a good hair day to upload, unfortunately, you run the risk of being irrelevant in your niche.

 

The truth is this: the key to becoming the go-to person in your niche is to publish youtube videos consistently.

 

Just think about it… how else would you expect your channel to grow consistently, or to build your list consistently, or to generate revenue consistently without you showing up consistently?

 

The fact is, 70% of what viewers watch on YouTube is determined by the recommendation algorithm.
